HIRING: OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR

Weber Arctic is hiring - Office administrator & sales support.

Weber Arctic Expeditions is seeking an office administrator to join our team in Revelstoke. Are you a self-motivated, hard-working, and adventurous individual who shares our passion for the unique and magnificent Arctic? If so, we want you to help us share this incredible experience with others!

Our family-owned and operated tourism and eco-wilderness business has been making dreams a reality for over 30 years. With lodges and expeditions located throughout Canada's High Arctic, we offer our guests a range of unforgettable experiences, including sea kayaking with belugas, skiing on Arctic slopes, fly fishing, e-biking, hiking, and the opportunity to witness incredible wildlife like polar bears, muskoxen, narwhals, arctic wolves, caribou, and more.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience with Adobe InDesign and Adobe Photoshop, excellent writing and communication skills, and the ability to manage social media platforms and email communication. You must also be proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Google Drive, and have the ability to create, organize, and present spreadsheets and presentations.

Other responsibilities include preparing and sending guests pre-trip documentation, organizing guest waivers, trip manuals, hotel confirmations, correspondence, and packing reminders, booking group flights and hotels, assisting with sales leads and internal CRM software, completing PDF documents for annual Nunavut parks, Parks Canada, and business applications, creating and posting ads for annual summer guiding staff, and purchasing clothing and gear through our distributors for our online store, staff, and lodge inventory.

As a member of our team, you must be a problem solver, able to work independently and take initiative, and be a team player. You should also be able to assess and act on urgent situations, using critical thinking and communication skills.

To better understand our operations from both the staff and client perspective, a six-week placement at our lodge Arctic Watch will be included as part of the training process.

The job will be based in Revelstoke British Columbia at our office where we welcome hybrid work formats - which includes part time from home or remote.

If you share our excitement and amazement for the Arctic and possess the necessary skills and experience, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity by sending your cover letter and resumé to Mail@WeberArctic.com.

We're here to help.

We understand that booking a trip like this is a big endeavour. Please reach out to us with any questions that you might have regarding your upcoming adventure.
