Arctic Watch Takes Center Stage in Netflix's "Oceans" Documentary!

We're thrilled to announce that Arctic Watch Wilderness Lodge played a starring role in the polar segment of Netflix's stunning new documentary series, "Oceans"! For five incredible weeks, our lodge served as home base for a talented Netflix filming team as they captured the magic and majesty of the Arctic.

Witness breathtaking scenes of beluga whales in their natural habitat, the incredible arctic char migration, and the rarely-seen spectacle of narwhal feasting on arctic char – all filmed right here at Arctic Watch and surrounding inlets!

We've always been passionate about sharing the unparalleled beauty and wildlife of the Arctic with the world, and this partnership with Netflix has allowed us to do just that on a global scale. We're incredibly proud to have hosted the film crew and facilitated their efforts to showcase the wonders of this fragile ecosystem. While this was under wraps for several years, we are delighted to now be able to share this project!

The "Oceans" documentary is an immersive and educational journey into the depths of our planet's oceans, and we couldn't be more excited for viewers to experience the Arctic through the lens of these talented filmmakers. The polar segment offers a unique glimpse into the lives of some of the Arctic's most iconic creatures, highlighting the importance of conservation and the delicate balance of this extraordinary environment.
