Arctic Guide

Raised off the grid outside of Yellowknife, NT, Donny’s introduction to the outdoors was being placed in the glove box of his dad's boat at just a few weeks old en route to his family’s camping spots on the shores of Great Slave lake in the Northwest Territories. These early experiences instilled a deep love for the land that would initiate a life spent in it through a variety of mediums including fly fishing, hunting, skiing, climbing and more. Donny currently spends his winters studying Earth and Ocean Sciences at the University of Victoria, but as spring returns to the coast, he follows the migrating birds back to his northern home. Donny joins Weber Arctic as a polar guide specializing in fly fishing and tracking wildlife.
