Tasha comes from Resolute Bay, Nunavut. As part of the last nomadic family that lived on Somerset (about 150km south of Arctic Watch) until the 90s, Tasha grew up spending her summers living on the tundra with her parents in a (modern) traditional lifestyle - on an outpost camp in the remote Arctic. In the winter months she splits her time between Grise Fiord and Resolute Bay. As part of the culinary and guest experience team, Tasha's passion for cooking has led her to helping our chefs create exceptional dining for our guests. She's extremely knowledgable about the Arctic - be it flora or fauna and has a deep passion for the polar world.
